Welcome to Supersonic Samples, your newest option for premium drum replacements.
In this first edition you add over 2,700 new sounds to your arsenal. A variety of ultimately mixable samples was the priority. These samples, recorded using boutique preamps, compressors and industry-standard mics, go from mildly processed to very processed so you can find the right sound for each song — dial up a nicely compressed and EQ'd sample that needs nothing but a fader move, or a minimally processed one and tweak to taste.
15 snares, 68 variations. Multiple processing levels and up to 5 velocity layers. Every size snare with any material you'd want, from big deep hammered bronze to piccolos to a 12x4.5". Various levels of damping. Includes Snareside Swish (underside snare sound) and Crack & Swish samples for layering under a dead-sounding snare.
7 kicks, 110 variations. Multiple processing levels, mic combinations and beater types (plastic, felt, wood). Most have an extended-low-end version, several tunings, and some have both left and right foot hits. SS Hybrid Blender kicks blend real attack with synthesized or real drum bodies.
3 sets of toms, 5 variations. Two four-piece fusion sets (8", 10", 12", 14"), one maple and one birch/maple; one large maple kit of 12", 13", 14", 16" and 18" toms sampled in two different environments.
